Organic food store and restaurants, Bank, Post Office, Business Center, Public Transit, Yoga, massage/chiropractic/acupuncture, coffee shops, Bicycle rental, boutiques, hair solon, gas stations, art galleries, internet cafe’s and skate park. Paia is the last stop for supplies before taking the long road to Hana. Mangolani is a few minutes drive to Mama’s Fish House and Ho’okipa State Beach (world class windsurfing and kiteboarding) and another 10 min drive to the World Famous Big Wave Spot call ‘Jaws’ aka Peahi. Mangolani is situated in a perfect location to experience the best of Maui.

Our Oasis

This newly remodeled private ocean view estate is within walking distance to some of Maui’s best beaches, restaurants and shops in the Historic Plantation town of Pa’ia. Recently voted one of the ‘happiest beach towns in America’ by Costal Living Magazine. Our property offers stunning views of both the Ocean and Haleakala. Baldwin Beach and Pa’ia Bay’s powdery white sands and crystal blue waters explain why they have been voted some of the worlds best beaches.Enjoy the privacy and tranquility of our grounds complete with Mango trees, Avocado tree, bananas, passion fruit, and a variety of tropical flowers to pick. We have hammocks, hot tub, bbq, laundry facilities, chase lounges, pick nick tables, beach gear, and surfboards. The property is completely fenced, secure and private.

Our Guests Said it Best

  • We had a wonderful stay in the Medium Studio.  Room was clean and comfortable.  Location was super convenient for activities in Paia and a base for Kite Sailing and Surfing on the North Shore.  Dave was a great host and we will look forward to our next visit.

  • My husband spent 4 days at the Mangolani last week.  After leaving the Hyatt, we found the Mangolani Inn to be a peaceful retreat.   Off the beaten path, great host with plenty of info of Maui and the surrounding area.  We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The Poperty is very clean, close to town and relaxing.  Staying in the tree house with  no TV was a great adventure.  We would definitely return for another visit.  Thanks Dave!

  • We rented the 5 bedroom house.  Loved all the cool art and eclectic charm of the House.  Very clean and the most comfortable beds.  Great value for what you get!  Hot tub was nice and the grounds with all the exotic fruit was a dream.  Fresh mangos galore, avocados, bananas, papaya --- heaven.  This really is a "sanctuary" in a special town in Maui.

  • My wife and I where lucky to stay 9 amazing days here in Daves little Paradise. The location speaks for itself but on top of the obvious reasons I can mention a few of our unexpected benefits from staying at The Mangolani Inn. Surfboards in various sizes, snorkeling equipment, quality kitchen eq. esqui boxes to bring to the beach, free fresh local fruit and a nice couple of dogs to hang out with. Besides that Dave is very nice and helpfull and theres a few delicious restaurants just down the street. I'm in love with this place and would come back any time I need a place to surf and relax. Thank you Dave!

  • This place is great! We booked the entire inn for our wedding week to house all our of wedding party and couldn't be happier. The house gave us a private space to celebrate with our friends for the week and provided ample space for every couple to sleep. It's clean, accommodating, and has everything you might need (kitchen supplies, a washer/dryer, surf boards, even pets on the property). The only note - there is no air conditioning in the studios or the bedrooms - just the main living space. Not usually a big deal, but this August was a bit warm. The place is close to the beach and the town of Paia - definitely walkable if you are looking for somewhere without a car. It's also gated, so has a bit more privacy. Dave was great to work with, quick to reply and always responsive. I highly recommend this place.

A few important things about Mangolani Inn. We love to try and accommodate everyone, however we are not a large hotel or major chain. We have worked hard to create a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of Aloha spirit. We try and keep occupancy minimal, and prefer extended stays and our return guests. Our rooms are clean, chic, and well maintained. Mangolani is more a private oasis than vacation rental.

PETS

We do have pets on site. Lucky is our large loyal canine companion and Security Manager, along with his friend Tazzie our Pest Control Manager. We also now have two new additions Chia and Coco. As we already have a pet family on site, we do not allow other pets to stay.

OTHERS

In Hawaii they say “Pono”, “do the right thing”. It’s about respect and in respect to all our other guests we ask, unless previously scheduled and approved, there are no parties or loud music.

RESPONSABILITY

We have a variety of fresh fruits on site and make conscious efforts to eat cleanly and use green cleaning products. We ask while you stay you also make efforts to separate your trash and recycling. Mahalo.
